SRVHS is the home of multiple award winning choirs - all under the direction of Mr. Ken Abrams. This year, the Treble Clef will be singing at the American Choral Director's Western Division Conference in Tucson, March, 2010. The Concert Choir had the same honor of performing for them at Anaheim in 2008. The SRVHS CONCERT CHOIR and the TREBLE CLEF CHOIR were both first place winners at the 2009 Golden State Choral Competition. In 2007, for the first time ever, both the Chamber Singers and the Concert Choir took home the first place awards at this event. In 2005, both the Concert Choir and the Treble Cleft Choir won first place. Concert Choir also took first place in 2001 and the Chamber Singers in 2002. Touring is a highlight of the student's choir experience, and past years have seen the choir in Spain (2007), Australia and New Zealand (2004), the British Isles (2001), and Central Europe (1998). Domestic tours have included New Orleans, New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago and countless other US cities. Highlights of each year are made into an annual double CD recording.
